So now you can virtually D&D with the friends you may not have?
Absolutely disagree, this provides a platform for DnD players to play together who aren't usually able to. It gives the DM a set of easy to use tools to aid in telling their story, while also enhancing the experience.
It aims to capture the traditional feeling of sitting around a table with friends, it's merely one use of the AltspaceVR application (which itself is still early in development)

There absolutely will be (and is already, Dreadhalls comes to mind). That's not what AltspaceVR is though, it's more of a platform to recreate boardgames so people can play together virtually.
