in other news, Bernie is now 200+ delegates behind, with Yang endorsing Biden and perhaps Warren soon.

any chance of Bernie being picked as Biden's VP? usually it's someone exciting/trendy.
whether or not Bernie would accept idk, but let's imagine he did, would the moderates turn off Bernie as much as people turned off say Palin?
I'm thinking of a best case scenario for Bernie atm, otherwise his legacy could be dividing the dems and losing to Trump again.

I don’t think they’ll risk a Bernie VP, if Biden dies (high probability) then they’ll let in the party wrecker socialist.

Maybe they’ll choose a Beto-like: Young, vibrant up and comer who can be controlled by Biden’s surrogates. I could imagine them putting in someone like Kamala Harris: very centrist but a women of colour, hoping to lean across the aisle while accusing everyone who doesn’t want to vote for Biden of actually being misogynist/racist

But yeah even in the face of another Trump presidency if Sanders can’t get the Demonrats nomination he should go independent, if only to punch the rabies-infested dog of the Democratic establishment in the head one more time in the hope that it’s feral hound brain will finally explode and die.

Bernie's only task now is to go easy on Biden at the debate .

Bernie has no path forward by diplomacy. He must be so terrifying in the debate that Biden is literally frightened to death. Democracy has failed, now he must reveal to Biden that he was Corn Pop all along and is ready for the rematch
