The Order by Netflix is a good (enough) supernatural teen show
It has werewolves and instead of vampires they have members of a hermetic order (there are potions, magic spells and spooky runes)

They have all the usual sideline boring characters but have given them deep character flaws and made them better.

The poorly defined nature of the magic will make it ripe to be ruined over the course of it's third or fourth season as it rehashes the same plot points with villains of increasing ridiculousness wielding more powerful magic mired in contradictions to previous soft rules. But the first season was good and they've set themselves up for a second season which will probably also be good.

Have you tried Haunting on House Hill or whatever? That was the horror flavor of the month until this came along apparently.

Only saw one Ep which wasn't enough to draw me back.

The Haunting of Hill House? It was fine.

Show ContentSpoiler:

it was actually fairly interesting sometimes in retrospect,
some parts felt force-explained at the end, some parts felt totally unaddressed. Not sure if I'm too dumb or they didn't fill in all of their gaps
